What is Studio Pilates?

Studio Pilates is low impact exercise performed on high quality equipment specifically designed for the Pilates method.  

How long is each Studio Pilates session?

50 minutes per session.

What to wear?

Wear comfortable and breathable exercise clothing, such as shorts or leggings with a t-shirt.  Socks are required for hygiene purposes.

How much does it cost?

Please refer to our Packages in the menu.

What type of sessions you offer?

Private sessions are one to one with your teacher and semi private sessions are with 2-3 people and one teacher.

Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, bookings must be made in advance by booking online or using the contact form on this website.

How to I create an Account?

If you are visiting on a regular basis, to see upcoming appointments, active packages or gift certificate, please can create an account. Steps to do this can be found on the Account Creation page here.

How to I redeem a Coupon after paying for a Package or Gift Certificate?

When paying for a package of sessions or a Gift Certificate, you are allocates a coupon code. To apply that code to a session(s), please follow the instructions on the Redeem Coupon page here.

How much Pilates should I be doing each week?

For optimum results we recommend once to twice weekly.  Another program schedule may be recommended after your initial consultation.

How will I benefit from Studio Pilates? 

Studio Pilates can help you develop stronger core muscles, a more supple spine, assist with injury prevention and management, and improve functional movement for everyday activities.  

What to expect from your first consultation?

Your first Studio Pilates session will consist of a postural assessment, teaching of Pilates principles and equipment orientation, so that you are well prepared for your next session.

What to expect from your regular Studio Pilates sessions?

With regular Studio Pilates sessions you can expect to feel a sense of uncoiling and freedom from tightness and pain.

Benefits include:

  • Improvement in posture

  • Feeling stronger from inside to out

  • Increased flexibility and mobility

What equipment is used in a Studio Pilates workout?

Professional Studio Pilates equipment includes the Reformer, Cadillac Trapeze Table, Ladder Barrel and Wunda Chair.  Small props are also used where needed to provide challenge and variation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Minimum 24 hours notice of cancellation is required or the session will be forfeited.

What should I do if I am feeling unwell?

If you are feeling unwell or looking after a sick person/people at home, we ask that you reschedule your session and do not attend.

Where is the Studio located?

The Studio is located at Suite 3, 110 Willoughby Road, Crows Nest NSW 2065.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, there’s several free parking options nearby including, Holterman St council car park, both Coles and Woolworths car parks, plus street parking - all within close proximity to the studio.
